General Information

ΕXΕΚ is the greek acronym of the Employers Union of ACTE, dealing with labour issues and which aims at balancing the relationship between Hotel-Members and their employees. It is registered at the Commissioner of Unions as an Employers Union.

Members

5*, 4* or 3* Hotel Establishments, Deluxe or A' class Hotel Apartments, Deluxe or A' class Tourist Villages.

Services to Members

Negotiation of the Collective Agreement.
Participation in the Administration of the Hotel Employees Provident Fund.
Participation in the Administration of the Fund for the Well-being, Aid and Incentives to Hotel Employees.
Advice and information to Members on employment issues.
Arbitration for the settlement of labour disputes.
Provision of legal assistance to Members facing labour issues.
Possibility of providing lockout funds.
Possibility of providing funds for legal advice.
Participation in the following Bodies and Committees:
- Central Advisory Committee of the Labour Department for the employment of local and foreign work force in the tourism industry.
- Local Advisory Committee for staff recruitment in the tourism industry.
- Board of Directors of the Cyprus Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEV).
- Technical Education Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Education.
- Representation of Members at the Labour Disputes Court.
